2020 Harvest - Cariñena

The favorable weather led to the success of the 2020 harvest. The rains supported the beginning of the sprouting season in mid-March. The growth of the vines was rapid, due to the warm temperatures of April and May and the abundant rainfall. The same happened with the final fruit set, in June. The 2020 harvest has resulted in a reason to celebrate among all that happened during the year.

D.O.P. Cariñena closes an “excellent” vintage, with almost 92 million kilos of grapes (101.4K tons), 60.5% more than last year. In the end, the initial forecasts were exceeded and the Denomination of Cariñena has collected this year a total of 91,772,269 kilos of grapes.
