Inside VinExpo NY: Q&A with Pedro Ballesteros MW
As the birthplace of Garnacha Tinta (a.k.a. grenache) and the Cariñena (carignan) varieties, plus the kind of value only an under-the-radar historic appellation can deliver, D.O.P. Cariñena region remains an important and delicious reference point for Garnacha’s long history. Pedro Ballesteros, MW will lead a VinExpo Master Class to share insights on Garnacha wines from Cariñena to France, California, Italy and Israel. To get the conversation started, we asked Pedro for his thoughts on the grape and its hometown appellation. Read more.
