Cariñena 2020 Preview
Cariñena is traveling the US this year. In the first quarter of 2020, we are making stops in Nashville, New York and New Orleans. We just left Nashville where we participated in The Beverage Dynamics Cheers Beverage Summit where we presented to a group of on-premise buyers during a lunch, including a tasting of wines from each of our wineries. Next up, on February 26th you can connect with us virtually via a webinar with Wine Scholar Guild led by our friend, Pedro Ballesteros MW. Soon after that, two of our wineries, Bodegas Paniza and Bodegas San Valero, will be exhibiting at Vinexpo New York March 2ndand 3rd. And later in March, we are heading to New Orleans for a promotion with Martin Wine Cellar, a leading retailer in Louisiana. In addition to in-store tastings of wines from Bodegas Paniza, Bodegas San Valero and Grandes Vinos, we will be hosting a seminar and dinner on March 19 and 20. Check out Martin Wine Cellar for more information. Stay up to date on our 2020 travels. Hope to see you along the way!

oday the celebrated Turrón de Guirlache (Nougat Turrón) is now enjoyed everywhere in Spain, however, it was originally created for the enjoyment of Aragón royalty. This sweet dessert is made from just two simple ingredients: caramel and almonds. This is a decadent treat for cold winter nights, best enjoyed in front of a cozy fire.
