Alegría Cariñena

The Spanish wine region of Cariñena, known as the birthplace of Garnacha, has launched Alegría Cariñena, a new marketing campaign designed to appeal to trade and consumers with a strong interest in Spanish food, wine and culture. Read More.


Vinexpo 2021

Part of Alegria Cariñena, the VinExpo masterclass on February 12, 2020 at 11 AM ET. D.O.P. Cariñena has enlisted renowned Spanish wine expert, Pedro Ballesteros, Master of Wine, to lead this class on Trends from the Heart of Spain, D.O.P Carinena, where he will present the wines of Bodegas San Valero and Grandes Vinos. Harvest 2020 

The favorable weather led to the success of the 2020 harvest. The rains supported the beginning of the sprouting season in mid-March. The growth of the vines was rapid, due to the warm temperatures of April and May and the abundant rainfall. The same happened with the final fruit set, in June.
